A Saskatoon woman battling cancer said 'yes' after her boyfriend popped the question at Tuesday night's Ed Sheeran concert.
Pablo Benitez proposed to his girlfriend, Tanya Procyshyn, at the SaskTel Centre concert, just one day before Procyshyn was scheduled to undergo surgery for a brain tumour.
The couple didn’t have tickets for the show, but Benitez met Sheeran earlier this week and told him about his proposal plan. Sheeran gave him front-row tickets and, during the pop star’s performance of “Thinking Out Loud,” Benitez proposed.
Procyshyn said 'yes,' prompting congratulations from Sheeran.
“I’m just going to stop here for two seconds. A couple in the front row just got engaged. Congratulations!” Sheeran said.
