A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital Thursday after a two-vehicle crash in downtown Saskatoon.

The collision occurred around noon at Fourth Avenue North and 24th Street East. One vehicle was tossed onto its side.

Fire crews were called to extract the injured man from the vehicle. He was able to walk to a stretcher before being taken to hospital as a precaution. Police said his injuries were minor.
