Thieves made off with donations for a cancer charity when they robbed a Saskatoon hair salon last week..
Soul Salons on Circle Drive East was broken into last Thursday. The thief or thieves stole donations for a charity set up in honor of a woman, Tracy Dinh, who lost her battle with cervical cancer last year.
“I was furious,” said Karla Weinberger, who runs the salon and was a personal friend of Dinh. “It’s the fact that it was the charity money.”
The Salon had a security camera that recorded the theft, and police are investigating.
