The gallery doors have re-opened, and the public can once again experience a part of Canadian history at the University of Saskatchewan.

Renovations are complete at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre on campus at the U of S. It was closed for nearly two years, but the building is rejuvenated with new multi-purpose rooms.

The biggest project though is the expanded gallery space for the John Diefenbaker collection. Many historical artifacts are now on display for the first time, because there's never been enough room to show them.

The renovations cost $2.8 million. It was a joint project between the federal government and University of Saskatchewan.
