A home in Saskatoon’s Confederation Park neighbourhood was damaged in a fire Saturday morning.

Fire crews were called to 3658 Diefenbaker Drive shortly after 7 a.m. following reports flames were coming from the front of the house.

The home’s front steps and deck were on fire when firefighters arrived. Flames were brought under control in less than five minutes, according to a Saskatoon Fire Department media release.

The homeowners were in the house at the time, but made it out of the residence safely.

Damage is estimated at $20,000.
