Saskatoon is in the middle of a snowfall warning, which means the roadways are getting clogged and dangerous.

City workers are out Saturday clearing, de-icing, and plowing the roads.  The city says main roadways like 22nd Street and Idylwyld Drive are the first priority. Crews will stay on main roads until the snow stops.  Once snow stops falling, they will move on to lower priority roads.

The city advises drivers to be careful when passing plows and graders, and to drive with extreme caution. Allow extra time to get to your destination.

For more information on the snow removal, you can visit the city’s Snow and Ice program website.
