Saskatoon's biggest infrastructure project, the Circle Drive South Bridge, is still on schedule.

Currently, construction crews are tying rebar to build the core of the last bridge column. Later this month, the concrete will be poured inside. The columns hold the bridge deck up.

The warm weather is helping to keep the project running efficiently and making it more pleasant for the workers. They will be on the job for the rest of the winter.

Jill Cope, with the City of Saskatoon, says the public is quite interested in watching the bridge go up.

"All the structures for all the five overpasses and the bridge itself are continuing. Check us out on the webcam, always can check out the project there. And we get a lot of emails from people who don't live in Saskatoon and who live in other parts of Canada and even England who are on the website everyday checking construction, so it's nice to know everyone is monitoring the project."

The $300 million project is scheduled to open at the end of September.
