A 21-year-old woman has been charged after a two-vehicle crash on Circle Drive left a man with serious injuries Friday.

Saskatoon police say the collision occurred at about 11:40 a.m. when a northbound vehicle crossed the Circle Drive median, near the College Drive exit, and hit a southbound vehicle.

The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 26-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman driving the northbound car, who police say was at fault, was transported to hospital as a precaution. She was not injured, according to police.

She’s since been charged with driving without due care and attention. Driver inexperience was a factor, police said.

Both southbound lanes and one northbound lane were shut down on Circle Drive as police investigated and crews cleared the scene. Traffic restrictions were lifted at about 3 p.m.
