Police have arrested and charged a 24-year-old man after he was reportedly seen with a gun Tuesday morning in downtown Saskatoon.

Officers were called to a building in the 100 block of Third Avenue North after a report of a man with a gun entering the building.

The suspect was arrested without incident. Police say he was carrying a pellet gun and a billiard ball that was in a sock.

The man is facing two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
