Saskatoon Police have laid charges against three people in relation to the abduction of a 22-year-old man Wednesday evening.

Two men and a woman, all 22 years old, are facing charges of unlawful confinement and numerous weapons and firearms related offences.

Police were called to Eighth Street East and McKercher Drive after reports that a man was taken against his will just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Witnesses said the victim had been taken by two men. One of the men reportedly showed a gun.

The investigation led police to a townhouse in the 100 block of Fairbrother Crescent. One of the suspects was spotted in the area and the victim was located in the home unharmed.

Members of the guns and gangs unit were involved in the case.

The three suspects are scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday afternoon.
