Prince Albert has the support of several northern communities in its fight for a second bridge.

The Build a Second Bridge campaign encourages people and businesses to write to the provincial government to tell the powers that be how they were personally affected by the weight restrictions and lane closures on the Diefenbaker Bridge.

Now, the New North Association is on board. It's made up of several municipalities who say having a reliable second crossing of the North Saskatchewan is vital to their economic development.
