Crashes weren't the only things keeping emergency crews busy in the Saskatoon storm.

MD Ambulance workers helped deliver a baby in the middle of the snowfall Tuesday morning.

A couple was travelling along Highway #14 from Biggar to Saskatoon, when they realized they would not reach Royal University Hospital in time.

With the help of paramedics, the baby was born just before 6:30 a.m. about 18 kilometres west of Saskatoon along the side of the road.

Both mom and baby are said to be doing fine.
