A 27-year-old man is facing an aggravated assault charge after a Prince Albert man suffered life-threatening injuries this week.

Prince Albert police were called to a home on the 400 block of 20th Street East around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday. A 26-year-old man was unconscious in the residence, suffering from serious injuries.

He was taken to Victoria Hospital before he was moved to Saskatoon’s Royal University Hospital in stable condition.

Dustin Durocher faces an aggravated assault charge in relation to the incident.

He appeared Wednesday in Prince Albert provincial court.
