The Saskatoon Integrated Drug Unit seized three kilograms of cocaine on Thursday, and arrested three men and a woman.

Police say it started in the 2500 block of Melrose Avenue in Saskatoon. They stopped a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation.

In the vehicle they found two kilograms of cocaine. The three men in the vehicles, aged 21, 22 and 26, were arrested.

The bust led to search warrants at five other locations around Saskatoon. Besides a home on Melrose Avenue, homes in the 100 block of Imperial Street, the 500 block of Guelph Crescent, and 100 block of 5th Avenue North were searched.

Police found another kilogram of cocaine, and seized 15,000 dollars in cash, and a vehicle.

The men face charges that include possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possessing proceeds of crime. A 22 year old woman who was also arrested faces charged of money laundering, and possessing proceeds of crime.

All four are scheduled to be in provincial court on Monday – and police say the investigation continues.

The integrated drug unit is made up of Saskatoon Police, and the RCMP.
