Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway will be one of the honoured guests at the Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner.

The legendary Denver Bronco is the first quarterback to start in five superbowls. He played 16 seasons with Denver, and won two superbowls. He was also named MVP in 1998 when Denver beat Atlanta for the coveted title.

Elway will be joined at the dinner by hockey player Joe Sakic. Sakic played junior hockey in Swift Current until he was the 15th draft pick for Quebec in 1987. Sakic lead the Colorado Avalance to the Stanley Cup in 1996 and was named the playoff MVP. Sakic is a sure choice to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.

The Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner raises money in support of the Kin Association of Canada, a group which supports many community service initiatives including organ donor awareness, cystic fibrosis research, and secondary education bursaries.

The 51st annual dinner takes place on February 4, 2011.
