Angelina Irinici is a reporter at CTV Saskatoon. She was born and raised in Saskatoon, and after obtaining a bachelor’s of journalism degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, she moved back to her hometown to start her career. Angelina got her start in broadcast while interning at CTV Saskatoon. She spent time at The StarPhoenix, primarily writing features for Bridges, before starting as a reporter at CTV.
Angelina chose to study journalism because she has always loved writing and telling stories. While in school she fell in love with broadcast journalism and chose that as her career path. But the love of writing and storytelling never left her — while Angelina enjoys general reporting, she especially likes to report human interest stories. She sees it as an honour to share other people’s stories that wouldn’t normally be told.
