Saskatoon police suspect alcohol was a factor in a collision that sent two people to hospital Tuesday night.

The head-on crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on the 2800 block of Arlington Avenue, in the city’s Eastview neighbourhood.

An eastbound vehicle crossed the centre line and struck a westbound vehicle, police said in a media release.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 32-year-old man, and the vehicle’s passenger were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
